Every student deserves a community behind them.

That’s the message behind a community-wide effort reminding students that they have an entire village behind them.

George Kilpatrick sits down with Chief Karen Dotson and Director Akua Goodrich, Office of Family and Community Engagement, of the Syracuse City School District to talk about Syracuse Stands for Students and the importance of bringing families, schools and the community together.

The District plans to continue this effort at key moments through the school year.
