After 37 years of incarceration, Rhynes came home to a world that looked completely different from the one he knew when he went in. There was trauma to process, relationships to rebuild and an entirely new life to navigate. He didn’t stop there.

Through the arts, Rhynes has turned his experiences into a reason to serve others. His message is simple: keep going, get educated, and keep trying to make your voice heard.
