Following a board vote that removed her from her positive, effective immediately, Twiggy Billue is speaking to about the decision and what comes next.
In an interview with George Kilpatrick Inspiration for the Nation, Billue thanked members of the community for what she described as overwhelming support and confirmed she plans to appeal the board’s decision. Billue denied any wrongdoing related to the allegations brought against her.
She tells George the removal was unanticipated, though not a shock, and pointed to the lack of transparency in the process leading up to the vote.

Billue says the fight isn’t over, for her seat, or for the children and families of the district. A legal defense fund has been created to support the appeal.
