Kwanza Day 5: Nia/Purpose

Nia/Purpose

Kwanzaa Day 5 Nia/Purpose: To make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness.   Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world …. as we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. (Nelson Mandela) Living the 7 principles with Evelyn Ingram, Co-owner “The Castle”, and Director of Community Engagement for Wegmans Food Markets in Syracuse Metro Area.
